This past week I headed down to Austin, Texas for the 25th Annual South By Southwest Music Festival. I played and hosted an afternoon showcase at the 11th Annual “Invasion of the GoGirls” stage at Austin Java’s. The whole weekend was amazing. I had a great time playing, acquired some new fans, and heard a tremendous amount of fabulous music. I also ate some fab southern food. I’m already working on going back next year. Here are some pix of my show, some other bands I really liked, and of course my most favorite meal while there…..a fried yellow cake doughnut doused with maple syrup and covered with bacon and vanilla ice cream from Gourdough’s. Yes, that’s really what it was!
