Street Art, Correlejo Tequila, Cool Cactus and The Rialto Theatre Marquee
I was traveling in Tucson, Arizona recently. Wow, what a city! Beautiful sky, beautiful architecture, crazy cacti, lots of great music to hear, incredible food, and of course….good Tequila! Here are a few pix of the trip. Included are pictures of some cacti I saw on my hikes, street art I passed when I rode around on my bike, sitting outside The Hotel Congress enjoying good music and Correlejo tequila, and cool architecture and marquee’s, which I have an obsession with. I think perhaps the best one I’ve ever seen was here in Tucson on the side wall of The Rialto Theatre. They have their usual marquee on the front of the building, but they also have an artist paint an image of their upcoming shows on the side wall. The image changes very often. Just in the few days I was there, upcoming shows for Patty Griffin and The Avett Brothers were painted, which just happen to be some of my favorite musical artists.
